On behalf of the Ethiopian Ju Jitsu please accept my deep cordial condolences on the passing of our unforgettable General Secretary. Rossitsa and convoy our sympathies to her family, friends and federation.

The Ethiopian Ju Jitsu Association thanks the Sport Club TSV Lindenberg and its instructor Olaf Werner, 4^th Dan Ju Jutsu for their great and heartily donation of Gis and equipments. We also very much appreciate Great Master Bernd Hillebrand, 7^th Dan Ju Jitsu and his students, for their continue donation of Gis and sport equipment. Their support strengthens the activity of the Ethiopian Ju Jitsu. The donation was received by Ethiopian athletes in Lindenberg and Frankfurt, Germany - they have participated the international Bundesseminar 2010.

The Judo and Self Defence Seminar from 17^th -20^th June 2010 that was held by Mr. Hannes Daxbacher, great master, the former board member and head instructor of the German Judo Federation was very exiting and opened a great opportunity for the Athletes. The seminar took place in Addis Ababa Sport Centre and was attended by around 70 Ju Jitsukas and Athletes from different Martial Arts clubs as well as instructors from the Police. Great Master Daxbacher taught basic Judo and control techniques as well as principle of self defence by using high level of sport pedagogy. The day was also historical because the Ju Jitsukas trained for the first time on the tatame mattresses, which was sponsored nine months ago by Mr. Panajoitis, President of JJIF and nevertheless still stored in the Addis Ababa Martial Arts sport office.

Without exaggeration, one can assure that this was the first and incredible Judo kick off seminar in Ethiopia that was attended by large number of participants. At the end Mr. Daxbacher was greatly honoured and appreciated by the Ethiopian Ju Jitsu Association and participants for his masterly and excellent good will activity in Ethiopia. The EJJA is looking forward to seeing him.
