Dear Ethiopian Ju Jitsu Associations and Sport friends,
I congratulate and thank you a lot for the great job you made for the Jiu-Jitsu's spreading in Ethiopia in particular and forthe JJAFU as well as the JJIF in general. It is an important contribution of the African Jiu-Jitsu, and this website represents a real consciousnesses and an example to follow by others African Jiu-Jitsu's Associations. Jiu Jitsu will have an important place in social economy landscape of Africa. Besides as being a Martial Art technique Jiu Jitsu is a way of peace, non-violence, resolving conflict and specially strengthening women and children ability of self defence and confidence. It is very difficult and a challenge to run a sport organisation in Africa; We face with a lot of daily problems such as, budget bottle necks, lack of equipment and information as well as weak infrastructure and network.
Nevertheless, my friends we have a chance to inspire an enthusiasm that overcome our challenges (problems). We have in Africa a high affinity of sport and eagerness of knowledge that enables moving towards the spirit of Jiu Jitsu. In the Associations like Ethiopian Ju Jitsu Association and all other African Jiu Jitsu Federations, we have visionaries and tireless Ju Jutskas.
I personally congratulate Dr. Tsegaye Degineh, the Board and Committee of EJJA for their successful work.
Colince TATSA TCHINDA, President Jiu-Jitsu African Union (JJAFU)
